I am now focused on growing The Field Engineer community. In particular supporting our many community members who are job hunting. A thriving Job Board will support our community

From the outset The Field Engineer community has been built with the goal of offering support to field-based engineers through the course of their careers. From starting out as an entry level FSE through to Director of Service and Support. Or from being a Biomed Technician to becoming a Senior Director Healthcare Technology Management. For example, Andrea Brainard for Children’s Health in Dallas Texas . We want to help you to find your next field engineering job.

As part of that community support, we want to have the best Job Board for field-based vacancies in the world. 

I know this is a big challenge. However, we will achieve it by helping our recruiters to fill their vacancies. As well as making sure candidates have a great selection of vacancies to apply to. 

Supporting Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships can be a great way to enter Field Engineering. In many countries apprenticeships are a standard part of the education system.

So, The Field Engineer supports apprenticeships. How do we do this?

If your company offers apprenticeships, The Field Engineer Job board will always give free Job Posts to advertise engineering apprenticeships.

We recently met former apprentice Armin Steiner who is now the Global Hardware Installations Director for Varian. Varian is a Siemens Healthineers company that develops, builds, and delivers innovative cancer care technologies and solutions. Armin is based in Zug in Switzerland.

Where is The Field Engineer Job Board located now 

The Field Engineer Job Board remains clickable from The Field Engineer dot com, but is now located on the new The Field Engineer Store website.

We anticipate that the traffic to the new The Field Engineer Store site will attract additional candidates to the Job Board.

Clicking on the Job board link on TheFieldEngineer.com now takes you to the new Job Board location. So, we have two websites where candidates can reach the Job board from.

Who advertises on The Field Engineer Job Board

We have many major companies using our Job Board. For example, some current Jobs posts are from Videojet part of Danaher , Honeywell , Peak Scientific , EFI , Washington River Protection Solutions , Leonardo DRS .

We also welcome SMEs and anyone who needs to hire field engineering and customer service and support vacancies.

The Field Engineer is a young organisation, but our web traffic is growing month on month. 

In addition, our LinkedIn, The Field Engineer – Jobs and careers Group has 32K+ members.  

We also have an FAE group and a Field Sales Engineering Group on LinkedIn. 

All our LinkedIn Groups are public, so that means they are visible outside LinkedIn too.  

Our The Field Engineer LinkedIn company page has over 5K followers, nearly all involved in Field Service-related work. 

Our 3x weekly blogs are shared on LinkedIn, The Field Engineer Instagram page and The Field Engineer Facebook page and The Field Engineer community on Facebook.
