What regions , or areas, do you find most and least enjoyable to work in? And why?

Do you have any tips for alleviating the problems you encounter in the worst locations?

So far in my career, I have worked only on crew/utility vessels and the scope of our operations are providing security escort services to vessels/ Offshore facilities sailing or operating in the Gulf of Guinea, and crew change /transfer operations. I enjoy working deep offshore of the Gulf of Guinea and at Escravos (Gulf of Guinea too) due to the calmness of the sea (most of the time). <div>

I do not enjoy working at Lagos Anchorage of Nigeria especially for stand-by operations. The Lagos Anchorage water is usually rough which is due to the topography of the region. This region is close to shore and thus the availability of network, but the rough water is disturbing .The discomfort this brings makes carrying out my duties on such vessel quite difficult as I get seasick when the sea is rough.

Well I do not have any tips for the problem I faced in the said region, as our body systems are quite different and might react differently to such situation. But how I was able to cope, was by limiting my movement to the below deck where my cabin and Engine room is located (as the rolling condition makes little impacts in the below deck of my ship)and taking lime fruit🤗🤗.

Thanks Jedidiah, lime also stops you getting scurvy 😉
