What are the barriers when hiring from another continent if a WP is needed?
We have many community members who are looking to further their career in another country, and often in another continent. These engineers will need a work permit in order to work in the new location.
If you are responsible for hiring engineers, either in an HR capacity or as the hiring manager, what would an engineer need to prove to you for you to consider them for an initial interview if they will need to relocate and will need a work permit?
Does your company have any policies about hiring outside of your region? Are there language rules, are transferable qualifications rules? etc?
