Field Service Engineer
What does a Field Service Engineer do at Sealed Air?
A Service Engineer is responsible for Installation, service and repair of Sealed Air’s packaging equipment located at Customers premises. Carries out field service and sales responsibilities in a manner, which is in keeping with the professional standards expected by Sealed Air. Endeavors to meet or exceed the annual sales forecast for Protective Packaging business.

- To use your technical knowledge and experience repairing breakdowns to equipment and sell spare parts (when necessary), proposing Service Agreements to customers.
- To use your communication and negotiation skills to develop sales at existing customers by encouraging its use for more packaging applications.
- To use your customer orientation to encourage customers to upgrade their packaging systems to ensure they benefit from the latest Sealed Air technical developments.
- To use your cooperation skills to liaise with the Packaging Application Centre and with the Customer Service Department.
- You will use your training skills to train operators in packaging techniques and its safe use and deal with Health, Safety and Environment questions and also provide training and assist colleagues on selected products / systems, leading and sharing analytical / scientific approach in troubleshooting and service techniques.
Qualifications
- Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes or similar)
- Driver license
- Excellent interpersonal skills / ability to communicate at all levels
- Team worker
- Good organizational skills
